If it hurts the environment, I don't want it built.

BR: 1/30/2014 'I need help -- I can't do this anymore': Stranded drivers tell their stories

http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/29/us/winter-weather-vignettes/index.html

Here, two inches won't even close our schools.
I'd like to live in a place like that, so while the rest of society is freaking out I would be fine.
I find them to be sad and funny, because they couldn't survive in what I, as a new driver, have no problems traveling in.

1/16/14 Study: MTV's '16 and Pregnant' works as birth control

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/01/13/mtv-16-pregnant-birth-control/4459811/

The study doesn't surprise me, but I don't think just the show would be responsible.
In Barbour county, I've seen an increase in teen pregnancies among my peers since 2008, however in 2008 we were in early middle school and not many kids were getting pregnant.

BR 1/15/14 Favorite President

My favorite is probably George Washington, because he understood that no one man should be given all the power for a lifetime, and that we should switch to keep the government in check.

BR 1/14/14

The WV senators are Joe Manchin III and Jay Rockefeller IV.
The representatives are Shelley Capito, David McKinley, and Nick Rahall II

BR 1/13/14 West Virginia water officials study test results after chemical spill

http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/12/us/west-virginia-contaminated-water/index.html?hpt=hp_inthenews

I don't believe that West Virginia is correctly represented. It makes it seem like we're nothing but a dirty hole that the U.S has to try and cover up. I believe that we should be seen as a normal state, since we used to be a part of Virginia why are we so much worse than them? Unlike some people here in West Virginia, some of us like myself do not enjoy being dirty and covered in trash all the time. If the majority doesn't, why are we made to look like we all are?

BR 1/10/14 One month before Olympics, Russia puts Sochi under high security

http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/world/europe/russia-sochi-olympics-security/index.html?iid=article_sidebar

1. It seems like there's always been tension, I think people might be in danger.
2.. I wouldn't go, I don't want to watch sports, but I would visit the city regardless of threats.
