BR 9/13/13 Official says a car bomb has gone off near the U.S. consulate in western Afghanistan.

This attack's significance is that we are still having violence after the war is supposed to be over, and Americans in that country are not safe.

In my opinion, every war is a failure. With the taliban still attacking, however, the war we had in Afghanistan was a failure to prevent further violence.
