3/31/14 Racism
Racism is a still a huge issue in 2014. Although the civil rights movement is over and minorities got their rights, many people are still racist today and cause problems. I just read an article the other day about the KKK trying to recruit in some neighborhoods, claiming to be a "Christian Organization" not a hate group. They claimed their numbers were larger today than ever before. Besides that, I've heard many people in general being racist in my area, using slang or just in their jokes. It's something that needs to be addressed.

BR 3/27/14
I like how they serve for life, but I also do not. I like how they cannot be pressured into making decisions based on being fired, but then how would we get a corrupt one out? I think we need to have laws saying additional ways we could fire them, while keeping their right to serve justly for life. Only be able to fire them if they are actually doing something wrong with their job.

I believe it's strange that an entire plane could go missing, means we now have advanced satellite and surveillance technology. I think they pilot knew what he was doing, however. He knows how to fly, why wouldn't he realize how far off he was?
The U.S should help investigate.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/27/justice/california-school-american-flag-shirts/index.html?hpt=hp_t2
1. It violates our freedom of speech to not be allowed to wear what shirts we want.
2. Schools should not have power over dress, as long as what you wear isn't profane.
3. My stance remains unchanged. It was an American kid wearing and American flag. I love integration and diversity, but no one should have to give up a part of their culture for someone else.
